Stillman can be charming or cheeky, graceful or absurd – playing jokes and comically improvising with the audience in classic street-theater style. Body language is understood all around the world, and people’s reactions and funny interactions often make them accidentally part of the show.
Stillman’s festival shows are full of surprises and may contain stillness, pantomime, handshakes, lollies, comical faces, water pistols, ice creams, suspense, nose-balancing, audience participation, sudden laughter, a handstand finale, lots of kisses and other unexpected funny things.
The duration of a Stillman show easily fits into any festival program.
Performances can be in a crowd circle sideshow format that builds up to a surprise handstand finale, or as a walking act roving and interacting with festival guests. A standard booking would be up to 4 x 30mins shows per festival day.
